DRIVER AGE:
The minimum age for the driver must be 23 years. For renting cars with engines over 2000 cubic centimeters (cc), the minimum age increases to 31 years.

DRIVING LICENSE:
The driver must hold a valid driving license for at least one year prior to the rental date.

MINIMUM RENTAL PERIOD:
The minimum rental period is one day (24 hours). If the return of the vehicle is delayed by more than 29 minutes after the completion of the 24-hour period, an additional charge for one full day will be applied.

FINES:
The renter is responsible for paying all fines and administrative penalties incurred during the rental period of the vehicle.

DEPOSIT:
The estimated cost of the rental must be prepaid. The minimum charge is 500€, which is paid via credit card.

INSURANCE:
All rental cars from Intrarent are insured against fire and third parties for death and bodily injuries.

LIABILITY WAIVER (CDW – SCDW):
The renter can limit their liability for vehicle damage, provided there is no violation of the Road Traffic Code, as follows:

  • Categories A, B, C: 750€ with an additional 12€ per day.
  • Categories D, E, H, K, L, I, R, T, U, W, Z: 900€ with an additional 15€ per day.
  • Categories G, V, Y, YL, P1, P5: 1250€ with an additional 23€ per day.
  • Category P9: 1300€ with an additional 44€ per day.

The renter can further reduce their liability for damages as follows:

  • Categories A, B, C: 90€ with an additional 7€ per day.
  • Categories D, E, H, K, L, I, R, T, U, W, Z: 175€ with an additional 9€ per day.
  • Categories G, V, Y, YL, P1, P5: 275€ with an additional 15€ per day.
  • Category P9: 350€ with an additional 29€ per day (SCDW).

THEFT COVERAGE (TR):
The renter is exempt from liability for vehicle theft, provided they accept the relevant contract terms and pay daily:

  • 6€ for categories A, B, C.
  • 9€ for categories D, E, H, K, L, I, R, T, U, W, Z.
  • 12€ for categories G, V, Y, YL, P1, P5.
  • 18€ for category P9.

DRIVER AND PASSENGER INSURANCE (PAI):
Offered at a cost of 6€ per day and covers:

  • Compensation in case of death or disability up to 70,000€ for the driver and up to 17,600€ for each passenger.
  • Hospital expenses up to 1,500€.
  • Maximum compensation per accident 88,000€.

ACCIDENT FILE EXPENSES:
In case of an accident where the driver is at fault, a charge of 15€ is imposed, which is non-refundable.

ADDITIONAL DRIVER CHARGE:
The charge for an additional driver is 3€ per day, with a maximum cost of 60€.

TAXES:
Value Added Tax (VAT) is paid by the lessee.

AIRPORT DELIVERY CHARGE:
The charge for deliveries to Athens airport “El. Venizelos” is 25€ during office hours.

FUEL SERVICE CHARGE:
The fuel service charge is 18€ plus VAT.

CHILD SEATS:
Available upon reservation with a charge of 3€ per day and a maximum charge of 30€.

ROOF RACK:
Charged at 5€ per day with a maximum charge of 50€.

SNOW CHAINS:
Available upon reservation with a charge of 5€ per day and a maximum charge of 50€.

GPS (SATELLITE NAVIGATOR):
Available upon reservation with a charge of 2€ per day and a maximum charge of 50€.

CAR TYPE CHANGES:
The company reserves the right to change the car type in special cases, such as unavailability or other unforeseen circumstances.

PICK-UP/DROP-OFF:
Pick-up and drop-off of the vehicle may incur additional charges upon agreement with the company.

RENTALS OUTSIDE THE COUNTRY:
Allowed only with prior written approval from Intrarent.

TRANSPORT BY SHIP:
Allowed only with prior written approval from Intrarent.

CANCELLATIONS:
Cancellations of reservations are accepted only in writing and are subject to the following charges:

  • 30 days before pick-up: 20% of the amount.
  • 29-15 days before pick-up: 30% of the amount.
  • 14-7 days before pick-up: 50% of the amount.
  • 6-1 days before pick-up: 100% of the amount.
  • No show: 100% of the amount.

In case of early return of the vehicle before the agreed date, no amount will be refunded.

Smoking is prohibited in all rental cars. In case of violation of this rule, a cleaning fee of 150€ will be imposed.
